What is SCENAR SCENAR(S.C.E.N.A.R)* is a truly modern therapy using a small electronic bio-feedback device(applied mainly over the spine) invented by Dr. Alexander Karasev in Russia. COSMODIC is his latest and most sophisticated development of this technology.
The seeds of SCENAR began in the 1970's with the invention by Dr. Karasev of the TENS machine. When TENS proved not to be adequate enough to cure a member of his family, he set about designing a more effective device with reference to traditional Chinese approaches and SCENAR technology was born. In the 1980's it was introduced to Military and Space organisations.
Over some thirty years, SCENAR has evolved into a truly 21st century healing therapy. In Europe it is licensed so far as a pain-relieving device (and in the USA for muscle re-education also) but in Russia and Eastern Europe there have been countless remarkable healings recorded. It is widely used there by doctors in clinics and hospitals.
How it works
SCENAR is different from TENS in that it does not block pain. Instead it stimulates the body into self-regulating away the cause of pain. It works on the principles of acupuncture and reflex zones. Because the skin develops embryologically from the same tissue as that of the nervous system you can treat areas of the skin that represent internal organs and energy pathways. Therefore, the use of SCENAR influences every system of the body and assists in balancing the energy flow of the meridians.
Our bodies want to be healthy and function in a state of balance(homeostasis). Disease or an accident can push us out of this balance or self-regulation. SCENAR re-activates this mechanism.
Cosmodic
COSMODIC is Alexander Karasev's latest refinement of this technology. In simple terms: TENS blocks pain, SCENAR makes the pain signal more perceptible to the body (like homeopathy) to sort of 'prod' it into healing whereas COSMODIC encourages the body into healing and reminds it how to do it.
A COSMODIC device looks rather like a TV remote control. It is operated by placing the device directly onto the skin, where it collects electro-magnetic signals, records the skin response and returns a newly modulated and modified signal back to the body. The body then releases regulative neuropeptides (the body's own pharmacy) which help regenerate the damaged cells and restore healthy function.
